The educational and methodological kit "German. Grade 2 ”is intended for students who begin to study German in the 2nd grade of general educational organizations. The textbook consists of two parts: introductory course (Vorkurs) and the main course (Grundkurs).

Part 1 (the introductory course) is aimed at alphabetization of schoolchildren - there is work to master speech patterns, vocabulary, speech cliches, samples of dialogs, brief monologic statements. The textbook is designed for 2 hours a week and focused on achieving the very first level of communicative competence.

Part 2 (the main course) sets its task to further develop the personality of schoolchildren, their foreign communicative skills based on previously acquired language knowledge, speech skills. The textbook received the positive conclusions of RAO and RAS for compliance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Primary General Education.
