A textbook for grade 2 is part of the CMC in computer science for primary school (2–4). For each class, they are offered: a textbook, workbooks, a methodological manual for a teacher, an electronic manual on CD-ROM, which ensures the development of the main skills of working on a computer, and a set of posters. The teaching materials provide propaedeutic teaching of computer science, the purpose of which is to form students' ideas about the basic concepts of computer science based on their personal experience and knowledge gained in the study of other school disciplines, as well as develop the initial skills of working on the computer.
