The illustrative material of the textbook (color and black and white) will tell fifth graders about the history of typography and illustration, introduce the main genres of fine art, portraits of writers and their relatives, photographs of places related to the life and work of classics. The textbook complies with the Federal State Educational Standard, the approximate basic educational program of basic general education and the concept of teaching the Russian language and literature.
