The material of the textbook contributes to the development of mental operations: analysis, synthesis, generalization, classification, etc. Changes are made in the processed textbook: a new art design, an improved methodical apparatus - shmutztiles, the “test yourself” and updated content contribute to optimizing the educational process. The content was expanded by tasks of a creative and search nature. The application is transferred from a textbook to a workbook. The content of the textbook for grade 3 includes tasks in three actions. Geometric material is supplemented by volumetric figures (rectangular parallelepiped). The content of the textbook includes practical work. Particular attention is paid to the development of spatial thinking. The textbook was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Primary General Education.
