This textbook continues the line of educational and methodological complexes "Spheres" in mathematics.

The publication was prepared in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of basic general education and covers the issues of the course of mathematics of the 6th grade. The material of the textbook is meaningful at the continuation of the formation of central mathematical concepts (number, size, geometric figure) that ensure the continuity and prospect of mathematical education of schoolchildren. During its creation, the conceptual ideas of the textbook “Mathematics, 6” are used by G. V. Dorofeev and I.F. Sharygin. The main features of this textbook are the format, laconicism and rigid structure of the text, a diverse illustrative series fixed in thematic reversals. The use of an electronic application to the textbook will significantly expand information (text and visual) and learn to use it in solving various mathematical problems.
