The textbook "Mathematics" is part of the educational system "Spheres". The textbook implements a theoretical and many approach to the introduction of the basic mathematical concepts of “number”, “value”, “figure”. The concept of “task” is introduced after a significant propaedeutic work, which contributes to a deeper and deeper understanding of the structure of the task. Geometric material is introduced in two stages: familiarization with the geometric figure and the formation of initial ideas about the size. A special emphasis in the textbook is placed on the development of the information culture of students and the development of skills in symbolic activity. This textbook involves the strengthening of the applied direction of the course with an emphasis on the active use of interdisciplinary connections in teaching mathematics. Particular attention is paid to the formation of financial literacy of schoolchildren by means of mathematics. An important place in the textbook is given to work with text tasks. The geometric component of the course includes acquaintance with elements of both planimetry - views of corners and triangles, circle and circle, and stereometry - a cylinder, cone, ball. The textbook was prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Primary General Education.
