The textbook is intended for students in grades 11, in which physics is studied at an in -depth level, and is a continuation of the textbook “Physics. In -depth level. Grade 10 ”of the same author. The textbook complies with the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary General Education. It is included in the federal list of textbooks as part of the completed subject line. The book was created taking into account modern scientific representations, includes the following sections: “Electrodynamics”, “Electromagnetic radiation”, “Physics of high energies”, “Elements of astrophysics”. The advantage of the textbook is a carefully developed methodological apparatus, including questions, tasks of varying degrees of complexity, creative tasks, descriptions of laboratory work. The book is well illustrated. Notebooks for testing and didactic materials have been published to the textbook. The section "Laboratory work" was prepared with the participation of G. Nikiforov. Creative tasks are compiled by O. A. Krysanova and N. V. Romashkina.
