The textbook is intended for deaf students and implements the requirements of the adapted basic general educational program in the subject area “Philology (language and speech practice)” (option 1. 2) in accordance with the GEF of the NOO with disabilities.

The material of the textbook provides the general, speech, socio-personal development of deaf children. The texts that make up the 1st part of the textbook expand the ideas of children about natural changes in autumn and winter, contribute to the consolidation of polite communication skills at school and houses, and the formation of personal competencies. The system of issues and tasks is aimed at mastering the reading technique, the development of the ability to comprehend read, replenish and enrich the lexical reserve.
