The textbook is intended for deaf students and ensures the implementation of the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject area “Philology (language and speech practice)” (option 1. 2) in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Students with disabilities. The material of the textbook motivates the appeal to the book, develops the reader's competence of students. He is aimed at developing and improving the skills of meaningful reading, the development of oral and written communication, the formation of moral and aesthetic experience and the socialization of deaf students. The methodological apparatus includes tasks aimed at the formation of universal educational actions and the development of students' ability to creative thinking and cooperation.
