The textbook complies with the Federal State Educational Standard of Secondary (Complete) General Education and is intended for studying the history of Russia at a deepened level. It is written in accordance with the approximate basic educational program of secondary general education and is also based on the historical and cultural standard. The extensive actual and theoretical material in conjunction with the methodological apparatus, which is based on the system-activity approach, allows students to deepen the knowledge of history gained in grades 6-10. The textbook expands the knowledge of high school students about the main events of Russian history from ancient times before the beginning of the twentieth century.
