The textbook is intended for deaf students and implements the requirements of the adapted basic general educational program in the subject area “Philology (language and speech practice)” in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Students with disabilities.

The material of the textbook is aimed at the development of oral and written speech of deaf schoolchildren, the formation of elements of educational activity, and cooperation skills with peers. The practical activity, the variety of tasks and forms of organizing work in the lessons ensure motivation in mastering speech and awareness of the perception of the material being studied.
