The textbook is written on the basis of the work program for the technology of the authors E. A. Luttseva, T.P. Zueva, compiled in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Primary General Education, the concept of spiritual and moral development and education of the personality of a citizen of Russia. Its content and methodological apparatus implement modern requirements for personal, meta -subject and subject learning outcomes in elementary school. The textbook helps to educate respect for the masters, work and its results, to form an elementary technical and technological knowledge and skills, to develop the basics of creative activity qualitatively and consistently. The processed textbook has amended the design of the cover, illustrative material was modified, as well as a number of topics in the “Drawing Workshop”, which will help second -graders successfully master the initial drawing skills.
