The textbook is intended for children with disabilities and ensures the implementation of the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject area "Technology" in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of the Education of Students with Intellectual Disorders.

The content of the textbook is a logical continuation of the content of the textbook “Technology. Manual labor ”for grade 3. In the 4th grade, work is underway to improve skills formed by schoolchildren in the process of all previous education in elementary school. A feature of the organization and conduct of manual labor lessons in grade 4 is that schoolchildren perform tasks both in the conditions of a classroom and on the basis of school sewing, carpentry, binding-cartonal and other workshops.

The training kit for manual work includes a workbook, which presents graphic materials for the preparation of children for practical tasks and for the formation and consolidation of general system skills.
