The textbook is intended for deaf and hard of hearing students and ensures the implementation of the requirements of adapted basic general educational programs in the subject area “Social Science and Natural Science” (options 1. 2 and 2. 2, 2nd compartment) in accordance with the FSUS of NOO with disabilities health. The material of the textbook involves the accumulation and systematization of ideas in children about objects and phenomena of the surrounding natural and social world. Students comprehend the basics of scientific knowledge in group and independent activity at an accessible level for them. The knowledge gained give students the key to understanding personal experience, make the phenomena of the world around them understandable, familiar and predictable. This will allow each student to obtain examples of adequate behavior in the surrounding natural and social environment, apply acquired knowledge and skills. The content and structure of the textbook will allow the teacher to organize lessons taking into account the information relevant for children and use the textbook as a source of additional material for recommendations for extracurricular activities with the teacher. A number of thematic pages will be useful to children as memos accompanying their life. The electronic form of textbooks, along with basic materials of the printed form, offers an expanded series of illustrations, as well as simulator and control interactive tasks that complement the content of textbooks and increase the functional literacy of students.
