The Great Patriotic War is one of the most important milestones in the history of our country and our people. The 75th anniversary of the Great Victory is dedicated to the publication of the four-volume anthology “Great Patriotic War”, which presents the best examples of the Russian prose of Front, dedicated to popular feat. The third volume included Vasil Bykov’s novels “Sotnikov”, Emmanuel Kazakevich “Two in the Steppes”, Boris Vasiliev “And the Dawns here are quiet...”, Vladimir Bogomolov “Ivan” and Yuri Bondarev “The battalions ask for fire”. They describe the tragic fates of those who have already comprehended the “science of hatred”, those who had nothing to do with the military profession - men, women, children, but who, when the time came, stood in a single system to defend the Fatherland, who has not had anything yesterday. And in the most black days of his life he believed: our right -hand business, victory will be behind us.
