In the small South village, the murder of journalist Sergei Vyazemsky was committed. He came here to prepare the material about the mystical phenomena occurring in the district. Deep at night, the journalist was strangled and drowned in the river. A local leader is suspected of murder. The prosecutor Maxim Arkhangelsky does not believe that the helpless old woman, moving in a wheelchair, could commit such a crime.
