This manual is fully consistent with the Federal State Educational Standard (Second generation). The manual includes fragments of literary works, tasks for them of different types and levels of complexity, as well as artistic texts for comparable analysis. Tasks will help to develop skills in analyzing the text and creating a written speech utterance, as well as to test and evaluate students' knowledge of the theory and history of literature. The manual can become the basis for the system of intra -school and final control in literature in grade 8, as well as gradual and purposeful preparation for state final certification in the Format of the OGE and the exam.
