From the letter to the syllable and the words ”is intended for classes with students of grades 1–4, having difficulties in mastering the original reading skill (not reading or slowly reading children). Tasks of the manual are aimed at the formation of a stable image of the printed letter and prepare children to master the skill of smooth syllabic reading. The allowance includes 33 classes that use specially designed exercises and tasks for the formation of visual, visual, sub-engineering and verbal representations. The material for tasks is selected taking into account the frequency of printed letters and the characteristics of their elements. For each subsequent lesson, the syllables and words are composed of previously studied letters. The manual provides for an independent intermediate assessment of the results of the completion of tasks for the development of self -control. The manual is included in the educational and methodological complex “Speech therapy support of primary school students”, which contributes to the development of the main educational program of primary general education. This publication begins a series of reading manuals. A notebook can be used in lesson or extracurricular activities, in the accompanying correctional and pedagogical work, when assisting children from parents. The manual can be used in class with children of preschool age.
