A collection of modern contextual tasks contains models of tasks in natural-scientific literacy in Pisa format. The selection of tasks is aimed at developing and testing the following competencies: a scientific explanation of phenomena, understanding the main features of natural scientific research, data interpretation and the use of scientific evidence to obtain conclusions. Each task contains a description of the real situation in a problematic manner and several questions/tasks related to this situation and have a different cognitive level. Sample answers to the tasks are also given. The collection allows you to form universal competencies in the course of solving practical problems and communicative competencies while working in groups. It is recommended for the use of teachers in biology and chemistry lessons, and in extracurricular activities.
