A textbook made in large font is intended for children with visual impairment and prepared in accordance with the content of the textbook “Gabrielyan O.S., Ostrousse I.G., Scholkov S.A. Chemistry. Grade 9 ". The completed subject line of the UMK O. S. Gabrielyana in chemistry is developed in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard of basic general education.

The line textbooks are included in the federal list and are recommended for use in general educational organizations. The content of the course is built in accordance with the historical, logical and systemic activity approaches based on the hierarchy of educational problems. The 9th grade textbook introduces students to chemical reactions in solutions of electrolytes, non -metals and their compounds, including organic substances, metals and their compounds, reveals the issues of chemical safety in everyday life and in production, ensures the repetition and generalization of the main topics of the course in preparing to final certification.

All didactic units of the textbook begin with the formulation of the educational problem (question, task, experiment), which is solved in the process of studying the paragraph through a system of issues and tasks. A significant role is assigned to a chemical experiment: practical work, laboratory experiments, including those carried out at home, fixing and analyzing their results, compliance with the norms and rules of safe work in the chemical office (laboratory). The development of cognitive interests, intellectual and creative abilities of students in the process of studying chemical science and its contribution to modern scientific and technological progress is supported by the connection of the studied material with life, other academic subjects and various types of professional activity.
