A textbook from the “Profile School” series is intended to study the elective course of general pharmacology in the amount of 35 academic hours as part of the natural-scientific and universal learning profiles at the level of secondary general education. During the study of the course, students of grades 10-11 will get acquainted with the history of pharmacology, the basics of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, with the tasks of pharmacotherapy in the treatment and prevention of diseases.
