The manual “Journalism for Beginners”, included in the series “Extracurricular Activities”, is designed to work with students of grades 8-9 in the framework of the general intellectual direction of extracurricular activities. The course in the amount of 35 academic hours is aimed at developing cognitive abilities, problem-value communication and communicative competence. Students will get acquainted with the journalist’s profession, techniques for working in journalism, will learn how to navigate in the modern information space.

The manual is recommended for organizing circle work and optional classes at the level of basic education.
