The textbook is intended for children with disabilities and ensures the implementation of the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject “Art” in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of the Education of Students with Intellectual Disorders.

The content of the manual is aimed at the formation of a sustainable interest in music and the development of students' musical abilities. In the second grade, children continue to master the basics of musical knowledge and extra-musical representations, learn the faithful vote of the melody, the purity of intonation; accurate reproduction of a rhythmic pattern, proper sound recovery when playing the simplest musical instruments. Listening and discussing the musical works of different eras, they will join the musical culture, learn to understand the emotions expressed in music, talk about their impressions of the heated musical works.
