The notebook is included in the teaching materials for literacy and is produced complete with the ABC (authors of N.V. Nechaev, K. S. Belarusian), the content of which complies with the requirements for the federal state educational standard of primary general education 2009 " The ABC ”takes into account the age and individual characteristics of younger schoolchildren and is built on the psychological and pedagogical foundations of the development system of L.V. Zankov, thereby fulfilling the requirements for planned universal and subject results at the end of the period of teaching. The notebook is designed to work with the ABC (authors of N.V. Nechaev, K. S. Belarusian) and contains those tasks of the textbook that should be performed in writing: finding the studied letters in the text and in the figure, compilation of words, correcting errors, solving Crosswords and puzzles, coloring of drawings.

The publication is designed in full accordance with the "ABC", which allows first -graders to navigate on the page and find the right task faster. The notebook also has a grid that is used for a dictation of letters, syllables, words and records of sentences to schemes. Based on the tasks of the ABC, the teacher can make their similar exercises that children will perform on the pages of the notebook.
