The collection “Yevtushenko Tanks” is a kind of diary of a modern traditionalist, which passes the phases of denial, rebellion, struggle and moves to enlightenment. Its path can be compared with ascent to the mountain in the evolian sense. The “Kirsz fate of the fellow citizens” that dig at the foot of the mountain are represented in absurd sketches. The cycles of poems with vivid militaristic images reflect the struggle, a heavy rise in twists. And, finally, closer to the top illuminated by the mountain light, the hero shares his thoughts about spiritual and worldly.
