The book is devoted to a poorly studied problem of skin lesions associated with diabetes - the most common endocrine disease. In domestic literature there are no works that generalize accumulated information in this area. In the presented work, information about the influence of decompensated diabetes mellitus on concomitant skin diseases of infectious and non -infectious etiology is systematized. The classification of skin complications of diabetes, their etiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and differential diagnosis are given. The characteristic features of clinical manifestations and the course of certain dermatoses in patients with diabetes are indicated. The mechanisms of the negative impact of decompensated diabetes on the occurrence and course of dermatoses are presented and discussed. A rational tactics for the treatment of dermatological patients with related diabetes sugar are proposed.
