The third book of the Diary in content and tonality of records is sharply different from the previous ones. The author’s personal troubles also reflected on these pages-the death of his son, the death of his wife, the persecution of the anti-war fairy tale “Odul Barmaley” and the hardships experienced by society in the 30-40s. There are gaps, many torn pages in diarybooks. On the surviving pages, the echoes of the tragedy of Akhmatova, Zoshchenko, Pasternak, Vasily Grossman, Fadeeva.
