Functional literacy. Grade 3. Buryak M.V.

Functional literacy is the ability and ability to independently search, analyze, process and assimilate the necessary information from various sources. The formation of functional literacy in younger students, as a rule, is carried out in four areas: reader, mathematical, financial and natural-scientific. In order for third -graders to be the process of forming functional literacy in qualitatively, in this simulator, tasks of various types are collected for children: diagrams, graphs, experiments, tasks for comparison, analysis and classification. The fulfillment of tasks will contribute to the development of arbitrary attention, cognitive interests and needs in children, increase the vocabulary, the ability to use various means of communication for the competent presentation of their thoughts in oral and written form. The simulator is intended for students of grade 3 and their parents, teachers for organizing extracurricular activities, we recommend an additional methodological manual for this simulator.
