This textbook was created to solve the problem of the effective organization of classes in the Russian native language with students of the sixth grade in lessons and in extracurricular hours.

The manual presents thematic tasks that contribute to the education of respect for the Russian language, understanding the need to study it, the development of the cognitive interests of schoolchildren, the formation of skills and the skills of semantic reading and the functional literacy of six -graders in the process of their general intellectual development.

All tasks in the training manual are compiled taking into account the second generation standard and are aimed at the formation of personal universal educational actions, the foundations of logical thinking and communicative competence among sixth graders. A variety of material can be used for frontal, group, individual work in lessons or in extracurricular and project activities of students.
