The textbook is intended for children with disabilities and ensures the implementation of the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject “Art” in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of the Education of Students with Intellectual Disorders.

The material of the textbook helps to form skills in perception and understanding of works of art, expand and clarify their ideas about objects of surrounding reality, teaching the ways of image in drawing, modeling, work on application, and also form technical skills of working with different Artistic materials taking into account the capabilities of children.

The textbook presents samples of creative tasks, which should be proposed by students in the form of handout, prepared by the teacher independently or on the basis of an electronic application posted on the page of the textbook on the website of the publishing house.
