The content of the textbook is intended for students with intellectual disorders and ensures the implementation of the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject area “Art” in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of the Education of Students with Intellectual Disorders (Option 1). The development of skills to depict objects in movement, human appearance, to use different techniques for working with paints and paper will help children create expressive drawings and crafts. The expansion of knowledge about the work of famous artists and folk masters, about the surrounding natural world and society, about materials and tools in visual activity will give children the opportunity to more deeply perceive and understand works of art, as well as share their own impressions and experiences in communicating with surrounding peers and adults.
