The textbook is intended for children with disabilities and implements the requirements of the adapted basic general education program in the subject area “Art” in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Education with Intellectual Disorders. The developing skills of third -graders to transfer objects in the movement, human appearance in the portrait and self -portrait, in the use of different techniques for working with paints and paper will give expressiveness to children's drawings and crafts. Expanding knowledge about the works of famous artists and folk masters, about the surrounding natural world and society, about materials and tools in visual activity will give children more to perceive and understand works of art, as well as share their own impressions and experiences in communicating with surrounding peers and adults. At the end of the textbook, methodological pages for the teacher are placed. The textbook presents samples of creative tasks, which should be proposed by students in the form of handout, prepared by the teacher independently or on the basis of materials posted in electronic form of the textbook.
